About Us

Overview

Elk Island Child & Youth Ranch is a group care and intensive treatment facility that has been operating since 2000. Our programs include short-term or long-term care for children and youth between the ages of 10 and 24 years, who struggle with emotional, behavioural, and/or psychiatric difficulties. The program creates individualized programs to guide youth and
support them towards successful futures.

Facilities are located on 120+ acres in a rural setting approximately 60km North East of Edmonton in the town of Lamont. Elk Island Child and Youth Ranch has an administration office located at 4707 51 Street in Lamont and 2 rural
properties with the capacity of 10 beds.
